Working to ensure that the charm and quality of life in our neighborhood
is maintained and improved upon.

The Evergreen Neighborhood is located in the heart of Lake Oswego, Oregon just south of Portland. We are fortunate to have Lakewood Bay as our southern border and the core of beautiful downtown Lake Oswego along our eastern border. We have 50+ commercial establishments and approximately 600 residential units, mostly single-family homes, but also condos and apartments.

Walkability

Walk the tree-lined streets or along Lakewood Bay and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors. In addition, numerous services, shops, and eating establishments are within walking distance.

City Parks

Two city parks are within our borders.

Evergreen Park at the corner of 3rd and Evergreen

Millennium Park Plaza offers a multitude of events year round

The Catholic Church also has a wonderful playground between 6th and 8th street that they generously make accessible to the neighborhood.

Restaurants & Shopping

The neighborhood has many locally-owned restaurants with casual and upscale fine dining. Small shops and boutiques as well as nationally-known retailers are within walking distance.

Public Art

One of the many special features of  the City of Lake Oswego is the Gallery Without Walls program.  This investment in public art is unique to Lake Oswego.  Our neighborhood is fortunate to have on display a number of pieces from prominent artists, including "Origami 3" permanently installed at the western entrance to Evergreen.

Award-Winning Library

Lake Oswego's award-winning public library is located just 4 blocks to the north at 4th & D Streets.

City Services

City Hall and the LO Police Department are within our neighborhood boundaries while the post office and fire department are 2 blocks away.

The Lake Oswego School District is known for its excellence in education with over 80% of students going to college. Children in the neighborhood will go to Forest Hills Elementary, LO Junior High, and LO Senior High. Our Lady of the Lake (located in the neighborhood) offers an option for private schooling, grades K-8.
